Rehearsals Each Monday evening from 7-9 pm, June 15-August 10 at our Bonner Park Bandshell, corner of Ronald & Hastings Sts.
Gigs Each Wednesday evening at 7:30, June 17 (Big Band)-August 10 at The Bonner Park Band Shell, corner of Ronald & Hastings Sts. ((Special gigs; July 4 at Fort Missoula, 10:30- noon
Poobahs Gary Gillett - director, Amanda Tish - administrative assistant, Dan Dixson - chaplain, & Bill Haffey - historian.
Players Participation is open to all adult music makers and selected hs students’ w/application/recommendation/audition. A complete summer commitment is not necessary – come as you can.
Music Folders may be checked out for practice through the librarian. The folders must be present for each rehearsal & concert – without exception! Contact Amanda w/concern 406-240-0230.
Money?! You can ‘opt out’ of payment to benefit our band! This is a semi-pro gig. The City of Missoula allows us a little money to pay the bills and salaries, and then split the balance evenly between interested adult members with at least an 80% attendance rate at rehearsals/gigs. Stuff; -Please be at performance site 20 minutes early – for preparations-Concert dress is casual & appropriate -Please bring your own music stand! -Your comments, suggestions, ideas are encouraged.-Join us on Facebook for regular updates-try our website; www.missoulacityband.org
